About Daniel Choi

Director/DP based in Denver, CO

Daniel was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. He was raised in Macon, GA, and went to college at the Citadel Military College of South Carolina in Charleston. There he fell in love with photography taking landscape stills of the Carolinas Lowcountry. In 2018, He moved to Denver, CO to become an AmeriCorps Tutor and to be close to the mountains. In 2020 during the height of the Pandemic, he decided to take a risk and to start his own freelance Creative business. He rose up in the ranks from photo assist/production assistance to the G/E and DP world. In 2023, He directed his first short film and documentary. As a Korean American, Daniel is committed to telling stories through the lens of an unique upbringing and perspective.
